Article Ideas
The topic of your article can be anything RC-related, as short as a single paragraph or as long as necessary.
Your articles may include photos, but are not required. A few ideas:
- Racing tips and ideas
- Maintenance and repair tips and ideas
- Your personal reviews of RC products
- RC-related stories
- RC Events descriptions (Write down what happened at the track this weekend!)
- Opinions and rants!
Anything goes, anything you want.** This site is for RC hobbyists, and ABOUT RC hobbyists.

Poor writing skills? We can help. All articles submitted to this site must be reviewed and approved before they
display, and we'll do our best to clean up any typos and grammatical errors for you so long as it doesn't change
the content of your article. Your ideas are what is important; the rest can be edited and corrected.
The Dreaded Rules
- ORIGINAL CONTENT ONLY. Do not copy and paste something from another site and claim it as
your own! Don't forget we've been to most of those sites, and if we haven't yet, we'll get there. :-)
- No age restriction. Anyone can contribute an article, regardless of age.
- Multiple submissions are encouraged. Submit as many unique articles a month as you like. Don't
submit the same article repeatedly, this is not a "vote." Articles submitted in the current month are not
eligible for next month's contest.
- Don't violate the TOS. We encourage freedom of expression in any form but please refrain from profanity or other
language that would violate the RC-Resources User Agreement.
- Verify sources. "I heard that . . . ." "Someone told me that . . ." If any
content in your tip or article includes information from an outside partly, it is very important that you
specify that person or party explicitly. Acceptable solutions to the above would be
"The HPI website FAQ page says . . . " or "John Smith, who's been racing for 3 years at my local track
here in (city, state) says that . . . "
Judging
RC-Resources is owned by a single long-time hobbyist, and will have the final say in the
monthly winner. In the interest of fairness and diversity, I've employed the assistance of several other hobbyists in the community
and take their opinions seriously before deciding the winner.
Award *
Monthly winners will be announced on the main page of this website no more than one week after the first of each month.
Shipping is FREE to the continental United States, and your T-shirt will be shipped USPS standard in the first week
of the month. As of the writing of this page, have not yet decided a policy for
winners in other countries, Alaska, and Hawaii, but it is possible a shipping surcharge may be required.
